2015 Motivation, after HUGE holiday failure

Start weight when my weight loss journey began in June 2014: 114.7kg
Now 97
Lost so far: 17.7
Lost on Duromine: 10.7kg


Morning ladies,

I had such a nice holiday, and let go completely. I even stopped taking my D for the 2 weeks, taking a break, and yes, I gained A LOT of weight. I did not exercise like I was planning to, and I did not eat my regular meals. I went straight back to the "old" me, and I'm extremely disappointed in myself. When I weighed in on the 2nd of Jan, back @ 97kg, I was so sad. I worked so hard, only to gain 6.1kg with all the holiday pressure, by giving in so easily. I was so sure that I could do this, but I was wrong. I could actually feel my body protesting against what I was doing. I will NEVER make the same choices again.

So, this new year, I am starting out back at 97kg, and I have been exercising, and eating like I should since the 2nd. Next weigh in is on Friday, so hoping to have lost quite a bit of the weight I gained. My goal is to lose another 37kg this year. 2015 WILL be the year I reach my goal, I will not give in to temptation. I will not stop exercising. I owe this to myself, my hubby and my son.

Motivation for the week: 70% of all people who start a fitness plan quit. EXCEPT YOU. NOT THIS TIME.

Sadly ...
But you know, sometimes we need to go through this experience on our own to see how it can be. Now you know. And you will never do this mistake again. We all are aware how holidays and vacations are tempting. The whole point of gaining a new you is to accept your new diet plan as a 'normal' one, not as a necessary measure you need to take just to 'fix' your body. Once you think of new food choices as normal daily food, it will be much easier. Aw, those old habits are so hard to quit... I know :(

I'm sure I have gained too :eek: however will not weigh in until Saturday... It's hard to be good all the time, however your back on track now I'm sure you will lose the 37 kgs you want have a great week im looking to seeing your Friday weigh in results :)
