My first 2 weeks on Duromine!

Hi All,
So i started my blogging to let people know my journey on duromine. When i wanted to learn about it there wasnt just one webpage that said all i needed to know. So im answering what things i wanted to know when i was researching it. Such as what i ate, what i did during the day, how i felt on it, what excercise i did, side effects etc. All are answered in my blogs.

So now i have been on duromine for 2 weeks. I plan oon being on it for 3 months. I have a docs appt this week and im going to ask if i can get the higher dose as i am feeling hungry most days and have even been needing a nap during the day!

Height: 166cm
Start weight: 92kg!
Start BMI: 33.4
Current weight: 87kg!
Current BMI: 31.6
Total loss: 5kg!!!! :)

My initial goal weight is: 75kg which would put me in the middle of the overweight catagory. Which is what i hope to be at the end of taking duromine. So i need to lose another 12 kg!!!! Heres hoping.
My long term goal weight: 65kg!! BMI: 23.6 So i need to lose 22kg from now. I know this is only just in the healthy range but my body type doesnt really suit skinny. Ive been in the 50's and i looked weird as i still had DD/E boobs.

I am very proud of myself so far. I cant really tell that ive lost it but people who know me have mentioned it :) I think duromine is a great kickstarter. Im lucky to not have had many side effects. I would definately reccomend to people with high BMI's. I have lost an average of 2.5kg a week. But i only walk most days due to back problems. So if you are capable to workout at a gym or able to run go for it! youd be stupid not to take advantage of the duromine while you can. I wish i could just go for a workout.


Day 13
Wake up: 7am, took pill. Feeling pretty good.
Activities: Went to work for a little while, then went to the shops and an appointment.
Breakky: A large green apple
Lunch: A slice of multigrain bread with tomato cheese and ham.
Dinner: Steak and salad sandwich on Turkish bread.
Snacks: Fruit
Drinks: 2 600ml water bottles and a glass of hilo milk
Exercise: 30 minute walk
Tip: You should only exercise upto 30-40 minutes. After this time the benefits are increasingly diminished. Its better to workout at a higher intensity for a shorter amount of time.

Day 14 Friday
Wake up: 8am Its Good Friday!
Activities: Super cleaning the whole house, having people over for dinner.
Breakky: Berry yoghurt
Lunch: I warmed up a weight watchers meal but couldn’t eat more than a couple bites.
Dinner: I made garlic prawns, chilli mussels and baked lemon and garlic fish! I only had a small portion of mussels and salad.
Snacks: Nuts and fruit
Drinks: 2 600ml bottles of water
Exercise: None – I was so busy! I should have tho cos weigh in is tomorrow: p
Tip: Weigh yourself regularly. Some people might say weighing often is obsessive but its been proven women who weigh themselves regularly are more likely to keep up with a diet or fitness regime.


I hope my infor has helped people either on their journey with duromine or helped make a decision to go on it or not. I will be doing at least weekly updates on my own progress. Let me knoe yours :) any questions just ask or have a look at my other blog entries. xxx
