    I've been off Duromine for a few months now and continued to lose a bit of weight. I'm 67kg now. I'm not as hungry as I used to be. You can keep it off once you stop.

    I didn't get side effects till I took 30mg 2 days in a row, and on the 3rd day (taking it 3 days in a row) I was really sick. If I take it every second day I don't get side effects.     This is exactly how I felt after I took 30mg 3 days in a row - I take 30mg every second day. Try some peppermint tea or crystalised ginger pieces for the nausea perhaps. Take care.

    I lasted 4 days on 15mg and I was starving, so my doctor upped it to 30mg which works, but I usually take it every 2nd day.

    If you have health insurance check with them, they might cover non pbs prescriptions. I didn't know that mine did, so I paid full price for the first box. It's quite expensive but remember it's not forever, and it's an investment in your health.
