Hi Guys
As promised just a quick update since I quit Duromine. One month ago I was 96 kg. I now weigh 93 kg. And it really shows. I walk around 8 km a day now and have picked up some muscle.
My stomach is almost gone :)
Hope it's going good for your guys.

Hi Guys,
It's been a while since I dropped by. I am still off duromine but have stuck to a solid healthy eating and exercise plan.
All I can say is that I am now 96kg (about 1kg drop per week) and I feel fantastic. Fitting in my slimmer clothes again is so uplifting. I am resisting the urge to...
It is good to see the support on this forum - it goes a long way.
As you will read on my blog - I have thrown in the towel on duromine. The side effects have proved to harsh for me. Good luck to all you guys! I hope it goes well.
I thought I'd conclude this blog appropriately by letting you know that I have stopped the medication altogether last week Friday. The lack of sleep for me was the deal breaker. It did not feel natural - all that energy and the tense pressure in my head all the time.
Since stopping, I have feel...
My stomach looks like I'm pregnant :)
To top it off my weight is still the same. Will measure tomorrow morning and compare.
It can be my diet. I'm not over eating since I'm using fatsecret to monitor my kJ intake. Also drinking 8 glasses of water.
What's going on?

The next morning...
My goodness. I feel all tight and uncomfortable in my tummy right now.
My stomach is really bloated and I must admit the constipation hasn't subsided too.
Anyone experienced this as well? Thanks in advance for your advice.
Today I realised that losing a few kilograms would be meaningless if I did not sustain it.
So I decided to use three pronged approach to shed the weight and also keep it that way.
Diet, exercise and continuous monitoring shall be my chosen weapons against the fat :)
I was so proud of myself today as it was the first time I walked all off 10000 steps :)
With the duromine reaching effective levels at this point, I can report no cravings for food. The funny thing is that when I was young this was a norm for me - I only ate when hungry.
There is certainly an...
So I 'survived' my first day on Duromine.
What they said about difficulty sleeping is very true for me. I hardly slept last night and also had some terrible constipation. It's like you want to go to the bathroom but cannot empty the bowels.
Very pleased that I walked 4.5km yesterday evening...
So I was inspired by jDad's blog and how he defined his goals. I have decided to do the same :)
I am also setting SMART goals for myself.

So I have read so many items from a feminine perspective, I thought I would add mine.
I'm Sanjay from sunny South Africa. Having started off with Duromine (30mg) on Tuesday 1 April 2014, I must admit that I am a bit anxious at what the next few weeks hold. Am taking the necessary cautions about...
