Duromine and Lexapro?

Has anyone had any experience taking Duromine and Lexapro at the same time? Is it safe? Thanks

Hi Sam,

You should be extremely cautious taking Duromine with any other pills.

I know people, who took antidepressants with Duromine and didn't have any side effects. However, I also know cases, when the interaction of both medicines was not good at all. You can find some useful info here.

Did you try to discuss it with your GP?

Thanks so much! My Gp won't give it to me but I am desperate to lose weight.

Hi Sam!

I take Escitalopram and I am fine with duromine!
I took it for 3 months early 2020 and I didn't have side effects, in saying that everyone is different!

Thanks for the info. I decided to give it a go and I am fine so am very relieved :)

I'm currently on 20mg lexapro and 30mg duromine and no issues besides a bit of anxiety early in the morning. The only way to find out is to try it and if you feel funny stop.

I took both and first few days my anxiety sky rocketed but I knew it was due to the Duromine so I was able to manage it. Then it was ok after that. The main issue I had on it was sleeplessness and that was not much fun. But I did lose around 4 kg so that was good! 🙂
